A puppy in the house.

You should prepare for the puppy's arrival at the new home in advance and buy everything you need.
Practical tips.

1. Two bowls: one for food and one for water.

2. The puppy should have its own place to rest. It can be a soft bed, a baby blanket, or a frame bed with a mattress.
Arrange the “place” in such a way that the dog is not exposed to a draft in the summer, does not overheat near a radiator in the winter, and does not interfere with the movement of people around the room. Make sure that the baby does not lie under the air conditioner.

3. Toys.
The more toys your puppy has, the less he will be interested in your shoes, furniture, wiring, etc.
Toys should be different in size, material, and purpose.
Be sure to monitor whether your puppy chews or tears toys.
Teach him to spit it out so that the games don't end up in the veterinary clinic. Until then, watch how your puppy plays. All his games should be in front of your eyes.
You don't need to play tug-of-war with your Corgi. Ropes and other toys can be used as a fetch or you can play with him like a kitten.
In addition, there are many “useful” games, but that's another chapter.

4. Since your puppy will come back from walks dirty, you will need shampoo and soap.
Please note that they must be designed for dogs/puppies. It is strictly forbidden to use cosmetics intended for humans for bathing.

It is not recommended to shampoo your pet often.
Once a month is enough.
After each walk, as a rule, the legs and tummy are washed. The exception is summer, when due to the large amount of dust, you will have to bathe the puppy every three (and sometimes two) weeks, and of course, show exhibitions.

5. Grooming your pet's claws is a must.
Even the standard says that the claws of a Welsh
Corgi's claws should be short.
Long, unkempt claws interfere with the correct
paw posture, which, in turn, can harm
the development of the joints. Therefore, you can't do without a claw trimmer or
or a grinder.
The nails of a small puppy grow quickly, so you'll need to trim them weekly.
